Thanks to our lake we can practice many water sports:

a heated pool awaits you, single and double canoes, pedal boats and stand up paddle for rent directly at the hotel.

Water skiing and wakeboarding can be practiced with professional instructors, upon request.

Trekking

The entire territory of the lake offers the possibility of practicing this sport at various levels of difficulty:

All the valleys and mountains around the lake are suitable for this sport, from shorter walks to slightly more challenging climbs, you will find breathtaking views. From the nearby Sacro Monte to Mottarone and the valleys that connect Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore.

Moving towards the nearby mountains you will find more or less articulated paths: of the Val Grande, the Macugnaga Oasis, located at the foot of the Monterosa, the Val Formazza and the Toce waterfalls.

Running

A few meters from the hotel a walk on the Lake suitable for running on the lake shore, there are many paths, flat or uphill to run far and wide on Lake Orta.

Explore the medieval village of Orta San Giulio in a hurry, or follow the reed grove from Gozzano to Pella

Between one run and another, you must stop for a panoramic photo.

Road cycling and mountain biking

Multiple proposals for fans of this sport.

Cycling between views and breathtaking views, you can see the beauty of Lake Orta.

You can ride along the entire lake, starting from Pettenasco to Omegna, Nonio, Pella and back from Gozzano and Orta; (small note to simplify the walk, you can embark the bicycle on the scheduled boat that leaves from the hotel) or practice the eastern shore of the lake, then pedal up to Omegna, then go up to Agrano, then continue to Armeno and Carcegna, returning from Orta.

The hinterland also offers interesting routes.

Routes with GPX tracks are available.

On request we can procure rented bikes, also e-bikes.

Rafting and Canyoning

Top sports in nearby Valsesia, no more than half an hour from the lake, you can practice many water activities on the Sesia river. It is also possible to practice it in Val Grande.

For golf lovers between the lake and its surroundings, there are several clubs of varying difficulty, Golf des Iles Borromées, The Alpine Golf Club in Gignese, Bogogno Golf Club, Golf Castelconturbia and Verbania.

Riding

Numerous stables in the hinterland of Lake Orta, with the possibility of excursions immersed in nature.

Fishing

Many fish are found in our lake, it is possible to practice sport fishing, with permission, many small quieter areas ideal for this sport.
