Orta San Giulio, die kleine Perle des Ortasees.

Die malerische Piazza Motta von der aus die Fähren zur Insel San Giulio fahren. Auf der nördlichen Seite vom Marktplatz befindet sich der Broletto oder der Palazzo della Comunità (ehemaliges Rathaus) von 1582. Gegenüber vom Broletto fängt ein breiter Anstieg an, der 'Motta' genannt wird und an dessen Spitze die Pfarrkirche von Santa Maria Assunta liegt.
Auf der Insel ragt das ehemalige Kloster hervor, dass 1844 auf den Ruinen des Schlosses erbaut wurde. Heute beherbergt das Kloster Benediktiner Nonnen die im Stillen leben, das Monastero Mater Ecclesiae.
Auf der Insel befindet sich auch die Basilika von San Giulio, das wichtigste römische Monument vom Novarese.  Im hinteren Teil der Ortschaft ragt auf einem Hügel der Sacro Monte empor (Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO), ein Weg zum Pilgern, der von zwanzig Kapellen mit Fresken gebildet ist, sowie Statuen von natürlicher Grösse in Terracotta die das Leben von San Francesco von Assisi illustrieren.


Pettenasco: Das Museum der Kunst und Holzverarbeitung, die Pfarrkirche Santi Audenzio und Caterina dazu ein entspannter Spaziergang am See.


Pella: Auf der anderen Seite des Sees gelegen ist es der ideale Ort ein Eis direkt am See zu geniessen. Man kann die Pfarrkirche Sankt Filiberto besichtigen.


Madonna del Sasso: Es ist möglich das Heiligtum der Madonna del Sasso zu bewundern dass auf einen Felsen aus Granit, direkt über den See, errichtet wurde. Hier gibt es auch das Skalpell-Museum dass der Arbeit des weissen Granits gewidmet ist.


Omegna: Hier befindet sich die Pfarrkirche Sankt Ambrogio, das Forum dass von der Fondation Museum Kunst und Industrie betrieben wird und dass eine permanente Ausstellung beherbergt sowie Sitz von verschiedenen kulturellen Veranstaltungen ist. Das Alessi Museum sollte man nicht verpassen.


Quarna sotto: Wenige Kilometer von Omegna entfernt kann man in dieser kleinen Ortschaft das Musikmuseum besichtigen.

Vacciago: Das zeitgenössische Kunstmuseum von Antonio Calderara.


Ameno: Das Museum und der Ausstellungs-Saal Tornielli die von dem Verein Asilo Bianco betrieben werden. Der Monte Mesma mit dem Franziskaner Kloster und der Buccione-Turm.


Legro: Das bemalte Dorf: hier kann man Wandbilder von verschiedenen Künstlern bewundern.
