Histoire

Le Giardinetto fut fondé par Luciano, en 1930 sous forme de trattoria, où étaient servis des poissons fris du lac

Après la seconde guerre mondiale il s’enrichit également de la pompe manuelle à essence, en augmentant ainsi son activité, qui de simple trattoria se transforme en un excellent lieu de restauration avec logements et eau potable.

 

Oreste, décide de continuer l’activité de famille. Après avoir fréquenté l’école hôtelière de Stresa et s’être enrichi de nouvelles expériences professionnelles à l’étranger, en 1962 il prend les rennes de l’entreprise, en pointant toujours sur l’innovation et sur la qualité.

 

Au cours des années suivantes, l’intérêt d'Oreste est celui de faire connaitre le Lac d’Orte à des touristes italiens et étrangers, et ainsi il décide d’intensifier l’activité d’hôtel et restaurant .

Sa femme Caterina et ses enfants Cinzia et Ezio représentent une précieuse aide .

 

Cinzia gère maintenant le Relais et Chateaux Villa Crespi avec son mari Antonino Cannavacciuolo, demeure historique dont la cuisine vante trois étoiles Michelin.

Ezio, par contre a décidé de continuer l'activité de plus de 80 ans d’histoire, en devenant le gérant du Giardinetto, en se consacrant avec passion à la tradition de famille.
